On-Premise Switching Deployment Requirements

Capabilities:

  1. Fully Redundant
  2. 20,000 SIP sessions
  3. 2,000 Calls-Per-Second
  4. 7,500 media sessions
  5. 2,500 transcoded sessions
Note: Capabilities are per server pair, with 3 total pairs supported.

Hardware Requirements:

  1. 2 x Intel E5-2680 V2 Processor (20 cores/40 threads) or larger
  2. 128GB Ram or larger
  3. 4 x 500GB SSD RAID10 or larger
  4. 2 x 1 GB Ethernet Interfaces
    1. 2 x 10Gb Ethernet Interfaces Recommended
  5. Rackmount Server
  6. Redundancy Requirement
    1. Switching must be deployed in server pairs (2), to maintain high availability. To scale out a single Switching Deployment, 2 additional server pairs may be added to the deployment at a time with the max total of 6 servers.
