Trunk Group Registration - Softphone Setup Guides
Refer to the
registration article for help with configuring a Trunk Group Registration prior to configuring your softphone client.
Zoiper
This example guide below is for the free version:
- Enter username@switch IP (the Switch IP is selected when creating a Trunk Group Registration)
- Enter password

Click “Login”

Click “Next”
-
Click “Skip”
-
Click “Next”
-
Click on the “X” to leave the Settings page, and you are ready to make calls in Zoiper!
Bria Solo (Counterpath)
Beware of selecting Bria Teams by mistake as this is the enterprise version of the software and is configured differently. The software can be downloaded after an account has been created
via a free trial or purchasing a subscription.
This example guide below is for the Bria Solo version:
- Login to your Bria Solo account
- The dashboard has downloads available of the software for each OS. Configuration is achieved in the dashboard and dialing is performed within the downloaded software.
- Click on the Voice and Video tab in the dashboard to navigate to the Configuration page
- Click on the Add Voice Configuration button on the top right or bottom
- Click the Configure SIP Settings option
- Enter the Switch IP that was selected when creating the Trunk Group Registration into the "Domain" field
- Enter the username and password defined when creating the Trunk Group Registration into the "SIP USERNAME" and "SIP/VOICE PASSWORD" fields
- Click the Save and Close button
- Log in to the Bria Solo software that you downloaded from the dashboard and you are ready to make calls in Bria Solo!
